Researchers have adapted the electrostatic spraying technology to significantly enhance the way chemical applications are performed in interior settings. The technology will allow interiorscapers to spray much more efficiently and to improve the results of the spray applications. The Electrostatic Spraying Systems Co. has introduced this technology in their Model XT sprayers.
How Does It Work?
The sprayer puts a negative (static) charge on the fine stream of particle spray, which causes the spray to be attracted to the naturally positively-charged plants. As a result, these fine spray particles will cover all plant surfaces, including the backsides of stems and the underside of leaves.
This proven method of air delivery is the most effective system developed for moving spray droplets deep into inner regions of plants. Because of this static attraction and fine misting, you will use less chemicals than with conventional sprayers, and will have very little overspray. Consequently, the set-up time for covering surrounding areas with plastic is virtually eliminated, and clean-up is much quicker. |
